About Us

In 1995, Cerebral Palsy Alberta established a clothing donation program to generate revenue that supports inclusive wellness, therapeutic, and recreational programs and services for our clients across the province. Through longstanding partnerships, CP Alberta continues to collect millions of pounds of clothing, small household items, and recyclable beverage containers each year through donation bins, home pick-ups, and community partnerships.

  • In our 2025 Programs...

    we had 1808 participants, 629 in-person classes, and 288 online classes.

    These programs included Music Therapy, Gleeful Gardening, Art FUNdamentals, and Equine Therapy.

  • 990 Families & Individuals

    received one-on-one financial, physical, mental health, and community support helping them navigate affordable housing, adapted equipment, specialized therapies, federal support programs, advocacy, referrals, networking, and much more.

  • 1056 Hours

    of support given in 2025 including one-on-one supports, advocacy training, collaboration with agencies, development of local support groups, and telephone support.

  • $28,295.00 in CP Cares Funding

    was approved for 28 CP Cares program applications, helping families apply for financial assistance for equipment, therapy, and other needs.

  • 136 New Members

    supported in 2025

  • 18 Months - 5 Years Old

    20 families attended the Early Intervention Therapy Program, ensuring children with all disabilities receive the tools and guidance they need to thrive during this pivotal time. These services help families understand their child’s needs and build skills early on.

3 Ways to Donate

1. Book a Home Pickup

We collect quality used clothing, accessories, small household items and recyclable beverage containers from homes in Calgary, Edmonton and surrounding communities.

To schedule a home pickup please book online or call 1-888-477-8030 or email donationspickup@cpalberta.com.  Please contact us if you reside in an apartment or condo as we would be happy to make arrangements with the management company for a common area pickup.

Bring your furniture, household items and clothing here. There are 4 Value Village locations that accepts donations of used goods on behalf of CP Alberta.

We get paid when you drop off your donations here!

Note: Donations received at these 4 locations benefit us however shopping at Value Village does not support us or any nonprofit directly.
